Even More AAAS Fellowship Opportunities

Earlier this month I blogged on the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Mass Media Fellowship, which I had the benefit of during medical school. The AAAS opportunity changed my life in many positive ways. I would be remiss if I did not highlight other AAAS fellowships that science students and professionals can enjoy. Years of candidate selection at Harvard taught me what characteristics comprise a desirable applicant and how even bright candidates make mistakes that undermine their admissions success. I am a practicing Emergency Physician with nine years of experience training medical students, residents and fellows. I won three teaching and mentorship awards while at Harvard.
