On Your Mark. Get Set. Go: It's Match Week.

At 11am EST today (8am here on the West Coast) applicant Match statuses becomes available and SOAP starts. If you're looking for a way to distract yourself with interesting material, take a listen to last week's wonderful Planet Money podcast on matching algorithms called "The Marriage Pact." About Me

Years of candidate selection at Harvard taught me what characteristics comprise a desirable applicant and how even bright candidates make mistakes that undermine their admissions success. I am a practicing Emergency Physician with nine years of experience training medical students, residents and fellows. I won three teaching and mentorship awards while at Harvard.
